Terms & Conditions for Lumio

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using https://lumiostories.com/ (“Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lumio Stories provides AI-generated personalized stories and audio narrations for entertainment purposes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to use the Service. The Service is intended for parents or guardians, not direct use by children.

4. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree to provide accurate information
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content

You may provide inputs (e.g., prompts, child profile data) (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to:

• Use it to operate and improve the Service
• Generate stories and audio
• Store and display content within the app

6. Generated Content

Stories and audio are generated using AI (via OpenAI and ElevenLabs).

• Outputs may not always be accurate, appropriate, or unique
• You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing with children
• We do not guarantee quality, safety, or suitability

6.1 Voice Cloning

• If you create a voice clone, the voice clone is securely stored on Lumio’s ElevenLabs account.
• You may only upload or create voice clones for voices you have the rights and consent to use.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes
• Generate or attempt to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content involving children
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the system
• Interfere with the Service’s operation

We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

• The Service (software, design, branding) is owned by us
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without permission

You may use generated stories for personal, non-commercial use unless stated otherwise.

10. Availability & Changes

We may:

• Modify or discontinue features at any time
• Limit usage (e.g., credits, story generation limits)
• Update pricing (if applicable in the future)

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no warranties regarding:

• Reliability or uptime
• Accuracy or appropriateness of generated content
• Fitness for a particular purpose

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) in the past 12 months

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• We are required to do so by law

You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
